Course RM2
Gas Field Reservoir Mgmt
This course will:
oProvide a solid technical overview on the current state of managing diverse group of gas fields (Big gas, gas condensates, unconventional gas, tight gas, etc.) Increase the knowledge and level of understanding of the impact of gas field management on business delivery
oProvide attendees with examples of best gas management practice, that will enable them to:
oImprove their understanding of tools to optimize production performance
oIdentify reservoir recovery mechanisms and how to optimize recovery factor
oDiscuss how to assess risk and uncertainty in gas reservoir management and how to devise a surveillance plan to mitigate risks
The gas field Reservoir Management course will address key problem areas and offer tools and techniques for optimization in 5 days.
The target audience should be:
o"Experienced RE/PE/Geos who have well and reservoir expertise in gas fields or team leaders/managers who influence decisions
oMulti-discipline subsurface and operations (facilities)
oMax 25 attendees.
Class structure
o50/50 information into room by class leaders and attendees / interaction working session follow up
oReinforce good practices – positive/negative examples
oGuidance – all attendees must contribute
